As every year in the months up to christmas, like all years the rivalry begins with all the great toy retailers trying to rightly guess this years favourite toy at christmas and now in July the predictions are bein sent out from all toy retailers.  Unsurprisingly Ben 10 toys are  featuring highly on the list, a great challenger for the Christmas number one spot  the past two years Ben 10 has not quite made it, but that is all set to change in 2010.  With the release of two favourite new Ben 10 series, Ultimate Alien and Ben 10 Alien Force the popularity of toys and games is set to be larger than ever.

The massive range of Ben 10 toys on the market ranges from Walkie talkies and duvets, to Bikes and Ben 10 Alien Force Action figures.  The big range of alien lifeforms that Benjamin can metamorphose into supplies for an impressive and enormous array of Ben 10 action figures, each produced with a fantastic resemblance to their in show, in cartoon counterparts. Now in its fourth season the number of alien fusins in Ben’s watch totals over 40 with the vast bulk available in action figure format with many more to be released.

Last year’s contention to be the most popular xmas toy was tough, in the lead up to xmas 2009 Ben 10 experienced stiff rivalry from the new hamster craze zhu zhu pets that was sweeping the nation and if guestimates are correct it looks like Go Go pets and now their martial arts sidekicks Kung Zhu pets will be making a powerful appearance, aswell as the resurrected Power Rangers series.  But to make thing more competitive this holiday season sees a new contender enter the arena, the walking talking matchbox vehicle tossing garbage truck, Stinky the Garbage truck.

Youngsters like Ben, teens can get enough of him and even adults are hooked on the amazing naratives and beautiful colours and whatever happens, this year is without a question going to be great xmas for Ben 10 with stock selling crazily up to xmas.
